The State Library of Victoria's catalogues and indexes allow you to search for and locate items in the collection. To access some books and other materials you need to register as a Library user.
You can use the catalogues remotely via the web or by visiting the Library during open hours. You can also access other tools, such as information databases, eJournals, eBooks and links to other libraries' catalogues.
The Main Catalogue now includes the Manuscripts and Pictures catalogues and has a new look.
Search for books, magazines, newspapers, electronic books and journals, websites, video recordings, music, maps, oral history, manuscript material and images.
Search for photographs, prints, drawings and digital images catalogued up to 19 November 2008. All catalogued images can be found in the Main Catalogue.
