The Centre for Youth Literature delivers consulting services to teachers, school librarians, public librarians, parents and booksellers on a fee-for-service basis.

These sessions include the following topics:

• strategies for enthusing and encouraging young people to read effectively and with pleasure
• books for your people - trends, topics and titles
• selection and presentation of texts
• creating a reading culture and environment
• relevant and critical issues such as Boys and Reading, Reading and Technology, Reading and the Family, and International Fiction for Teenagers.
